Vogue Interiors announced designer Leslie Gebert, Allied Member, ASID, has completed the interior design for a San Michele residence built by Harbourside Custom Homes in Talis Park’s Fairgrove neighborhood.
Fairgrove’s In the Park lifestyle offers golf course, water and preserve views. The “single loaded” neighborhood presents 24 south-facing homes on just one side of the street. Unobstructed views to the north include a Talis Park preserve and a golf course in an adjacent community. Italian Renaissance designs honor the more traditional view of Naples’ architecture and are joined by a Spanish Eclectic style.
The San Michele floor plan is perfectly suited to Fairgrove’s parklike ambiance. The 3,693-square-foot under air floor plan includes a large great room that flows into a gourmet island kitchen, a formal dining room, study, craft room, four bedrooms, five full baths, a pool bath, an outdoor living area with a summer kitchen, fireplace, pool and spa overlooking the Talis Park Golf Club’s 12th fairway, a two-car garage and a one-car garage.
Gebert’s soft traditional design incorporates a color palette of creams and muted blues with warm taupe accents. Light fixtures in soft Champagnes have been introduced throughout the home with the addition of some contemporary artwork to add flair to the traditional look. With neutral stone flooring in the main living areas, the overall effect is one of soft, light elegance.
A long hallway leads from the foyer to the great room. In this space, Gebert integrated polished mocha-colored marble borders into the travertine flooring to mirror three rectangular coffers overhead, which are adorned with a metallic silver leaf covering and cove lighting. A credenza with mirrored door fronts and champagne-toned edges provides the foundation for a large contemporary abstract painting in soft blues.
