WCI Communities has selected Naples interior designer Jinx McDonald to design a fresh, new look for Talis Park’s first luxury condominium model.
Located in the Carrara neighborhood at Talis Park, the three-bedroom, 2,950-square-foot model will feature vibrant colors in Caribbean blues and sea-glass greens. The home will showcase glossy white millwork, painted furniture, and backgrounds in light to natural stone grays and traditional beige, taupe and tan backdrops.
The model features a den/media room, dining and great rooms, three full baths and a powder room. The main wraparound loggia — accessed through zero-corner pocketing doors — and a private al fresco area at the den offer more than 700 square feet of outdoor living space.
McDonald isn’t ready to reveal all of the details she has planned for the model but is quick to point out that the newest generation of WCI’s popular maintenance-free condo residences will usher in the new look of Naples’ homes.
The interior, she promises, “will be clean, fresh and modern. This is how we see Naples’ ‘new’ design, and we’re leading the trend away from browns.”
It’s a new Naples look that’s neither cottage, contemporary nor transitional, the designer said.
The model is on the first residential floor of Carrara’s four-story buildings and will feature water and golf course views.
“I’ve worked with several clients in WCI’s other condominium homes, and they love the lock-and-go lifestyle and open floor plan,” said McDonald. “These homes have lots of natural light and privacy for the owner’s suite and guest bedrooms, and there’s no wasted space anywhere in the unit. The sliding glass doors in the great room stack back to reveal the loggia and extend the living space. The dining offers bay windows creating a cozy, intimate ambiance.”
