Cruise into Talis Park

Musicians in matching blue shirts play oldies music as children run and giggle nearby on the perfectly manicured lawn. Residents sit around tables eating a buffet dinner while others relax in white chairs listening to the music, a backdrop of vibrant pink bougainvillea cascading down a stone building, green grass and a deep blue sky. It’s an informal event where people mingle, kick off their shoes and enjoy a free evening of music. It is this informal atmosphere that has attracted so many people to the luxury community of Talis Park in Naples. “We are much more relaxed here,” Chief Operating Officer Milt Flinn says. “No one will say anything if you go in for lunch in your bathing suit.” This relaxed environment attracted moms Ryann Cindrich and Laina Kennedy. Ryann has two children, and Laina has four. “We were trying to find a place that was welcoming to small children but also fun for us,” Laina says of her family. Outdoor concerts are held on the lawn by the clubhouse in Talis Park. Their children enjoy swimming, tennis, a summer camp at Talis Park and monthly activities for kids, while their parents enjoy all the benefits of living in a luxury community. So while the children were in a summer camp program at Talis Park, the mothers took part in a fitness boot camp.
