Fox Custom Builders’ fully-furnished, 3,433-square-foot under air Barlovento model is open for viewing and purchase in Talis Park’s Brightling neighborhood.

Brightling’s golf course, water and preserve views showcase Talis Park’s “In the Park” lifestyle. Homes by Fox, Sunwest Homes, and Harbourside Custom Homes range from 2,600 to 3,400 square-feet and offer Caribbean Colonial and Spanish Eclectic architectural designs. Brightling is a “single loaded” neighborhood with south facing homes on just one side of the street. Unobstructed views to the north include a preserve and a golf course in an adjacent community.

The Barlovento’s great room floor plan features a walled courtyard entry, three bedrooms, three-and-a-half baths, a study, a formal dining room, an island kitchen and breakfast area, and an outdoor living area that includes a covered lanai, pool, spa, and an optional fireplace and outdoor kitchen. The furnished Barlovento model is priced at $1.725 million and showcases an interior design by Kelley Bridwell and C. Chad Elkins of Clive Daniel Home.

Elkins and Bridwell have created a modern interpretation of coastal chic design with a subdued color palette of gray and beige with accents of gold, silver, and aqua. The flooring in the main living areas and master bathroom is polished porcelain tile.

The grand foyer features a dramatic ceiling detail of concentric circles enhanced by octopus-like chandeliers. Set in a niche, an étagère cabinet also displays a circular pattern, a design motif incorporated throughout the home.

The dining room presents garden views and showcases a large distressed trestle table in brown with subtle white highlights and a closed cabinet buffet finished in a white milk wash. The table is accompanied by seating for six, including grand host and hostess chairs, while a whitewashed 8-foot 1900 vintage bench allows for an increased number of diners. Glass orb chandeliers and distressed carved-wood art pieces add sophistication.
