In June, an expansion of the Golf Studio’s Casa Cortese Grille was completed. The expansion tripled Casa Cortese’s dining capacity with the addition of an outdoor dining venue and lounge experience overlooking Talis Park’s driving range. The outdoor area quickly became a favored gathering place for Talis Park residents and guests for lunch, following the completion of a round of golf, and during weekly happy hour events that are included on the community’s full slate of regularly scheduled social events that also include outdoor movie nights, harvest dinners, concerts under the stars and a farmers market.
In December, Talis Park announced the completion of Phase I of Vyne House. Located adjacent to the Great Lawn at Talis Park’s Grand Piazza, Vyne House epitomizes the New Fashioned aesthetic Kitson has introduced at the community. Rather than offering an expansive clubhouse, Vyne House consists of a series of lifestyle oriented spaces designed to be used every day, inviting users to come as they are in a relaxed, comfortable format. Phase I includes completion of Vyne House Shops that features Fiona’s Market Cafe which serves fresh, local fare, wine selections, bar service and other daily items. Also completed in Phase I are the Vyne House Core Fitness Center and the Esprit Spa.
Phase II of Vyne House will include construction of a golf pro shop, a dining room, 19th hole after-golf destination, a resort-style pool, an outdoor rotunda, and fire pits adorning the 18th green. Completion of Phase II will also include the opening of the Talis Park Lawn and Racquet Club that will include its own pro shop.
